Colours of Life: A Flash Fiction & Poetry Contest
Literature gives us perspectives, and perspectives add colour to our lives. So lets get coloured, lets splash some colours.
Readomania and Delhi Book Lovers, in association with Asian Paints and Istyle Unplugged is proud to present an On-The-Spot Flash Fiction and Poetry Recitation Contest on Saturday, 28th November, 11:30 AM in the Asian Paints experience zone in Connaught Place, New Delhi.
Flash Fiction Contest
There will be two groups - Adults: 18 and above and Juniors: Upto 18 yrs.
The topic will be given on the spot and participants will have to write a story On-The-Spot in less than 500 words.
Judges will be announced shortly.
Winners will get an attractive gift hamper!
Poetry Recitation Contest with Yaseen Anwer
Bring in your best poetry and recite to the audience. Yaseen Anwer, Poet and Founder of Kaafiya Poetry Festival, will judge and declare the best recitation.
A multilingual Indian poet, Yaseen is the founder of Kaafiya Poetry festival. He has also been the founder of Poet’s Corner, and Delhi Poetry Festival. He was felicitated with "Young Poet Award 2012" by the Indian Poetry Society. His translated work can be found and read in Chinese, Portuguese, Hindi, and a few other languages. Several times, he has been invited for guest poetry readings at prime institutions, and also as a speaker/ feature poet/ moderator/guest speaker/guest poet at premier educational institutions and literary festivals.
