About the Workshop

The creative writing workshops are targeted at people who want to explore creative writing. It is also meant for those who want to bring out the creativity hidden in them use it as a means of adding value to their monotonous lives

It is structured to inculcate the joy of reading and writing and celebrate literary habits.

The workshop deals with the subject of short stories/novels and work on the storytelling capabilities, structuring, plot, characters, voices, dialogues, descriptions, point of view/narration and some aspects of the language as well. 

The workshop also provides an opportunity for people to get published as a part of our anthologies.
The workshop duration will be 2 hrs and is filled with exercises, games and discussions that make it very interactive and lively. It is meant for people who are 13 years or above.

There will be good people, good conversations and even better learning experience!

Workshop Facilitator

Dipankar Mukherjee

An MBA by profession, Dipankar has worked with companies like IBM and Ernst and Young as a strategy consultant for 8 years before taking the road less travelled. His love for reading and writing got him to startwww.Readomania.com, a literary website that brings emerging authors to the forefront. Within a span of a year, the website has become a great place to showcase good writing and encourage reading.
He spends a lot of time mentoring authors, guiding them to improve their work and giving feedback.
He has been instrumental in publishing Readomania's first print book, Chronicles of Urban Nomads and is working on many more projects with new authors. 
He has been conducting workshops for the past 4 years.
