About the Programme
A two night-three days programme around Creative Writing, Faraway Writing Retreat is designed to allow you time and space to write and the opportunity to refuel your creative abilities and enhance your writing skills. The workshops are planned to give you a good view of creative writing concepts and writing exercises are built to challenge your proficiency. A total of 16 hours conducted over two days include sessions that combine instruction and guidance with time to practise. At the end of the programme, you may expect to take back a lot of ideas, writing tips on techniques, many good friends and pleasant memories. This programme only has 12 seats. The schedule will be shared with the candidates who confirm their participation.
About the Trainer
Divya Dubey is the publisher of Earthen Lamp Journal and the editor/instructor at Authorz Coracle.
Besides ELJ she occasionally reviews fiction for the Hindustan Times, Livemint, Biblio, etc (India); the Asian Review of Books (Hong Kong) -- some of the reviews republished by The Asian Writer (UK); the Asia Literary Review (Hong Kong), Wasafiri (UK), the New York Journal of Books (US) and India Currents magazine (US). She has also written for The Bookseller (UK), The Hindu Literary Review, the Hindustan Times, Scroll, Pravasi Bharatiya, All About Book Publishing, Book Link, The Publisher's Post, the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, Indo-Asian News Service, and others. Some of her short fiction has appeared in literary journals such as Out-of-Print, Muse India, Reading Hour, Kindle Magazine, and Urban Voice 4. She has been a guest lecturer for creative writing at Aurobindo Institute, Delhi, and has also conducted some publishing workshops at the University of Delhi. She ran Gyaana Books from 2009 to 2014 and was a finalist for the British Council YCE Award, Publishing, 2010
About the Location

About the Charges
The fee for the programme is Rs. 8500/-
This fee includes food, boarding, workshop fee and taxes.
This fee DOES NOT include to and fro travel from the location. However, if two authors or more want to travel together, we shall help to arrange for the same.
