“Two chococinnos" I mentioned.

“Irish coffee for me" she said.

“Sweetness is not bad" I said looking at her straight.

“The world has never been sweet with me “she said and moved her bittersweet eyes away from me.

“Because you have never tried to be sweet with the world” I said without being frivolous. She didn’t answer back. She used be perfect. I wonder what made a venturesome, proud girl do such an act of stupidity.

“Come on, answer me. You never ever lost in school debates.” I tried to revive her.

“But life isn't a debate, I always lose here “she corrected me; and gazed out of the window towards the sea. Her eyes were red, water-filled and tinged with sadness. I had never been so chicken-hearted before. I didn't know what to tell her. She broke the silence, “You shouldn't have pulled me back. You should have let me die. How did you recognize me after so many years? I would have done my work, if you wouldn't have stopped me.”

“Reason for the suicide?” I asked firmly sipping the coffee.

“I screwed up my interview, my boyfriend left me. And everyone hates me”, she sipped the coffee like a kid. Her Irish coffee conveyed she had been so negative. I had this weird raw talent of analysing people by their taste.

“May he have an ugly wife and hundred ugly kids”, I tried to be funny. She laughed a bit and the dimple on her face made me as happy as a lark.

“Life is like a flute. It may have holes and emptiness. But if you work on it carefully, it can play magical melodies. My girlfriend left me too. It gives me chance to flirt with beautiful girls like you. And forget about interviews, you still have chances. I am striving from last five years to get a career in acting. If people like you get depressed, I am sure, we people have to sit ,cry and drink tea instead of coffee”, I finally managed to convince her.

“You talk smart” she smiled yet again.

“I know, I am smart since school days. I would have topped if you wouldn't have been there.”

Chococinnos then?” I guffawed.

“Yeah”she giggled while putting away that Irish coffee.
