O, it was a beautiful day,
But, she didn't know what was coming her way!
She thought, when the situation comes, she will handle it,
But she must have been out of her wit.
You must be wondering what this is all about,
Well, it was one big scandal, no doubt!
She was in love with two extremely different boys,
One was tall and loud, the other was short and coy.
Two timing those guys boosted her pride,
Thought this dark secret she could easily hide!
But, alas, her false pretence couldn't last long,
As what she was doing to them was entirely wrong!
That day, the tall guy caught her red-handed,
She said he had every right to be offended.
Both the guys got into a fight,
Shocked, she sat there, contemplating over her sad plight!
Dejected and devastated, both of them demanded an explanation
That's when she realized, it's happening for real and is not her imagination!
For this complication, she tried to give justification
That she has not yet found her destination!
She said it was their fault that they had such great expectations,
They should have known, she is on both sides of the fence, when it comes down to temptations!
She begged forgiveness of the two,
But they left her, laden with rue.
She might have just called it a day,
But the Fate has had its way!
That's the day that she realized,
A candle burning from both sides,
Might give a bright and beautiful light
But, may not last for the whole of night!
