He Moved Away

He moved a little,
He moved again and
This time he moved far away
Leaving me behind to moan

I stood there dumbstruck with the loss
I turned into a lifeless corpse
I wanted to shout and cry my heart out
But the words froze
And tears spoke

I felt a vacuum  smothering me
And felt myself dying underneath it
I felt my helplessness 
I felt my weakness
I stood there silent
Perhaps wanting to speak
But that I couldn’t

I just watched him turning his back towards me
And moving away out of my reach
I just looked at him till the last sight
I could do nothing
So I kept standing
With the reminiscence of the memories shattered
And the moment I cherished ever

I felt my soul drifting away
I was tired, I was cold
All I did was sweeping away the dust in my eyes
Just to get a clearer sight
The tears dried too
But the pain was left
A never ending pain of the lost hopes

I just wanted to live by chance
I know I couldn’t do anything
But still strived for a single glance
He went and went forever

I still stood there trying to make upon the situation all over
Holding the pieces of my broken heart
Tears rolled and I fell apart
All I did was suffer and suffer
