To all the moms from the children given by god.
When I opened my eyes to the first ray of light,
I found you were there,
to shower on me all your love and care,
something that is skimpy and rare,
as you set an example of a perfect blend
of humanity with compassion and dare,
as you hold me all along my life so close and tight.
I thank you for having been born to a species so rare - Mom.
