My dear old lady, do you recall me?

That little seed you sowed, the future you saw

Within those ashen grey of sparkling balls,

Or does your mind roam in confusion

Waiting for a stimulus to rekindle

The flames we call memories?

Well, you ask how I am. Don't you worry,

You wizened soul.

I have everything you wished for me.

Convenience runs in my life

As the autumn colours trickle down

The curves of green herbs.

You know what's new? I discovered something.

Something so precious that I wish

Everyone was so lucky to realise.

Don't you tease me when I say this.

I feel love now.

Yes, go on and laugh you rogue lady

But don't you dare to mock me.

Heaven knows you were aware of everything,

Of everyone and their hearts.

I told you about that pretty soul.

You listened to my lovesick ranting

Tirelessly, as if that showed you

Reflections of a peaceful life.

You ask how I am?

Oh what can I tell you, I am changed.

Purgatory has declared my soul.

You know, for a flick of a moment,

I thought I would never be of any worth.

That my being meant a lie, a monstrosity

Lurking in the den we know as self-loathing.

But little did I know, or was aware,

That she would bring me back.

And now I see the light. The guiding rays

Of her, who believes in me.

Trusts my truth to be true.

I can now be an honest man, a proud soul,

Who won't let the evil change his plans,

Who would follow her words

To his own demise.

I vow not to let love down.

I promise not to let you down.

Do you promise to stand by our side?

And watch over me?

As the sun does with all its motherly glories?

Because I do require you

To be my guiding light.

Yonder stands this son, a good-for-nothing bloke.

Awaiting his fortune, the destiny.

Do you believe in reincarnations lady?

Do you think you can be breathing again?

Well, I believe you never left.

Just waited long enough for me

To find you as love.

The love every child needs,

Every life needs

To express their own true colours.

Thank you. Thank you for this life.

Yours ever,

Loving son
