A contented little girl, always lost in her thoughts. Every word she read, every advice she heard, left a deep impact on her. Her face and eyes always reflected a question mark. She absorbed all the words like a sponge. She read and read. She enrolled in a library near her house and finished all the books available there. Books that she was allowed to read for her age. She tasked her mother to find another library and discovered more books. Her friends and relatives teased her on being so different. She was often asked, 'What is there in these books?'
She had no interest in movies or television. Her only anchor was books. Just like her mind absorbed, her fingers started to write. When, where, how - she never tracked. It just happened. She started writing and kept those articles in the pages of her book. She sent them anonymously to the radio. A few got selected and even read out in the radio programs.
Her school participated in many inter-school competitions. There were many students eager to participate in events like extempore and debate. Very few wanted to write. Her teachers threw open the challenge to the entire class to find themselves in writing. She registered for a few and went on to win prizes.
Years passed and these events subsided as memories, to the background. Just like an old album is turned, and memories rush out to embrace - her passions came out of the closet, on one windy day. She started writing. The words just poured out of her, one after another, unstoppable. Every day, she wrote. When she was not writing, she was either thinking of what to write or what to read.
She filled the pages with her thoughts, each so precious, each so unique. Her restlessness and satisfaction in embracing her inner voice and her passion to express opened many windows, that made her journey of life exciting.
