Deepak Mahajan is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist ,practicing in Queens, New York for nearly 20 years. Choosing to pursue a calling in Medicine , he declined an admission offer from IIT Mumbai and earned his MBBS degree from B.J. Medical College, Pune in 1985. After completing a residency in General Surgery(MS) in Dec 1988, he provided surgical and public health services for 10 years in diverse settings in Central India. He relocated to the United States in 1999.
