Nitya Neelakantan is a writer and yoga teacher from Bangalore. Her debut novel, Mahagauri, is slated to be published soon by Rupa Publications. Nitya has also been commissioned by Rupa publications to write a mythology-based non-fiction book, tentatively titled- Travelling through mythology. Nitya graduated with a degree in Hotel Management before moving into the learning space as a technical trainer and then a soft skills trainer. She currently works as a Corporate coach and mentor. Her writing and yoga journey began simultaneously a few years ago when she took a break to spend more time with her two and four-legged family. When not teaching or reading, Nitya enjoys travelling with her husband, son, and fur babies.
