Onkar Singh, a creative mind and a child prodigy from Jammu, the city of temples located in the terror struggling state of Jammu and Kashmir. He is a product of BSF Senior Secondary School, Jammu. He is currently 14+ years old and studying in grade 9th. His national-&-international journey started at the earlier age of 12. By writing his debut book “WHEN THE TIME STOPS”, Onkar started his international journey. This book led him to achieve many awards including world records, best author of the year Onkar is fond of many things even hacking. At the age of 07, Onkar got a world record for the “World’s Youngest Webmaster (male)” from World Record Certification Limited, London. He developed his first web page at the young age of 07. Onkar also started a web technologies based company named ‘Batra Technologies’ for providing technologies services in the state. He is the founder of two brands namely Batra Technologies and United India Publishing. Today Onkar is a well-known name in the state of J&K, as being the first J&K citizen to achieve world record for the youngest title, also became the first Indian to achieve multiple youngest title world records. He is also the first child from the whole Jammu and Kashmir to achieve presidential ‘National child award‘ since 1952, when the award program was started. Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (Child award) is given yearly to children from whole country and since 1952 no one from the state of J&K was selected, but now Onkar became the first to do so, which made the whole state proud. On October 3rd, 2018 he published his debut novel with the organized help of Educreation Publishing. This novel was titled “WHEN THE TIME STOPS” and was based on the scientific theories and some fun based five stories which made this book a great success. Due to this published novel, Onkar became the World’s Youngest Theoretical author (aged 12). He has been awarded various awards including the India’s Most prestigious & highest civilian award for Children i.e Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2020 by President Of India (Govt. Of India). Besides his literal field, he is very much interested in the field of Science and Technology. This year he made a project titled “Radio waves filtering cover”, which is used to reduce radiation effects of mobile phones & wifi routers and got selected for the State Level National Children Science Congress 2019. Also besides this scientific field, he is known for his speaking skills at school & even state level. He had won various prizes in speaking competitions such as Declamation, Speeches or debates. Also he is well interested in the ghastly arena of Paranormal sciences. He had done six months degree from Thomas Francis University in the subject ‘Paranormal energies’.
