A writer by passion and an author of four published books, Smita Das Jain writes every day. Samples of her writing are visible in her home office, her sunny terrace garden, her husband’s car, and the kitchen napkins. Her debut short story collection A Slice of Life was named among India’s top three fiction works by Writefluence, and her debut novel A Price to Love found a mention in the Top 50 books of 2022 by Delhi Wire. Her second short story collection, Twisted Tales and Turns, was published in 2023, followed by the publication of her second novel Till Fate Do Us Part in 2024. Smita was the only Asian to be named in the Top 20 flash fiction winners list in the Spring 2022 contest of the prestigious US-based Women On Writing (WOW!) magazine for women writers, and is also the winner of the prestigious Bharat Award for Literature- 2023 for her short story ‘Purchased Love.’ Her award-winning short stories have been featured in prominent national and international anthologies around the globe, including Muse India, Kitaab, Auroras and Blossoms, Women’s Web, Writefluence, Wordweavers, Twist and Twain and Unleash Press. She is also the co-author of the international bestseller Cracking the Rich Code: Volume 12, endorsed by Tony Robbins. A certified creative writing specialist from Stanford University and Henry Harvin education, Smita was also a finalist for the Women’s Web Orange Flower Awards 2022 and 2023 and the Inspire Beyond Motherhood Awards 2023 for her writing. She has also appeared in National TV channels like CNNTV18, CNBC Awaaz and Zee Business and in leading print media publications like The Daily Guardian, The Hitavda, The Daily Pioneer, The Hindustan Times and Authority Magazine for her work and books. Outside the world of writing, Smita is an Executive Coach and Personal Empowerment Life Coach who helps people get better at what they do. She is also a 2X TEDx speaker, a keynote speaker at prestigious corporate conferences, and a guest columnist on personal development matters for leading magazines and platforms. She lives with her amazing husband and adorable fourteen-year-old daughter in Gurugram, India.
