Let me live with you for the years which are coming by
From the years where I have been blessed being with you,
Honestly!! It is too little to have known you.
Give me another chance, to cherish that moment from the beginning when I first met you.
Sit close to me like you did on that wintery night where our eyes first locked sight
Let me, once again cherish that moment with you
As I vaguely recall from that milky night
Where we first met, over at the late romantic night,
Wearing an elegant gown which caught my first sight
It was that moment which I will still recall, like it was just yesterday’s late night
My eyes glanced at you from the moment of sight
Your face was as bright as a pearl under the reflection of the full moon light
The princely white gown reminded me of Snow white
I said to myself, you were the one that I would have loved to make you mine, on that foggy night
You were standing among a group of unknown, chirping away with your friends at something that night
I surged for courage and signed off with my prayers, introduced myself as a perfect stranger from the Dark night
As I asked you for your hand, for the last dance of the musical night with the sounds of jazz from a well-known lad “Kenny G”
You smiled and whispered “I would love to” from your side.
Leading you through the wet green grass, the pleasure was all mine
Dancing a feet’s apart, it was unknowingly where our tastes inclined us to never part.
Staring in to your sight, I said to myself “I will always cherish this time”.
I held your waist, with your arms around mine.
You felt so relaxed, forgotten that you had to bid good bye
When the night had come to an end, you pecked my cheeks saying thank you
I smiled and replied “The pleasure was all mine”.
It’s now been forty years all gone
Oh god, please do take me along because I have missed her for so long.
