I write. I love writing. Though I am a Sales & Marketing professional for 20 years, my association with writing in some form or the other has made my profession tolerable to me. I have been writing in newspaper/magazines for a long time. ‘Uttar Banga Sambad’ a vernacular daily in North Bengal published articles on management topics – on Human Resource Management; on ‘Brand Extension’; on ‘Hospitality Industry’ as early as '98-'99. Our College magazine had published a short story titled ‘Debt Repaid’ and the next year, 'Love in Ruins'. 'The Statesman' recently published a short story ‘All in the name’ and 'Choices'. 'Himalaya Darpan' has recently published an article ‘The GST Experience of the World’. Apart from all the writing in the print media, I have been writing extensively in the Online space for organisations. I develop contents for B2B and B2C communication platforms, websites, marketing collaterals, wide range of business materials, blogs etc. Recently I have written a handbook for CEO/CXOs on ‘Leadership in You’ for an organisation. Though I write for different formats, for different target audience my heart gravitates to writing 'Fiction'. I observe reality and write it by changing the names of the characters and for me, that is the very definition of fiction. I dream to become a full time writer.
