Readomania is excited to announce the acquisition of the worldwide publishing rights to Nitya Neelakantan's Fantasy and Adventure Book based on a very interesting mythical concept. The book will hit the stores in 2022.

The book is based on the search for the fabled Navapashanam… a set of nine magical Lingams that have the potential to heal any malady, even revive the nearly dead.

Mookambikai, the secret keeper of the Navapashanam is being hunted and persecuted by nefarious factions until her trail suddenly goes cold after a confrontation with the vilest of the Aghoras who is looking for the artifact.

200 years later Mookambika’s great-grandniece, Manimeghalai finds clues in their ancestral bungalow and sets off on an adventure to find a necklace that she has been named after but gets entangled in a maelstrom of events involving dark elements who are still on the hunt for the Navapashanam.

Straddling two different timelines, this novel takes the reader through some fascinating temples and villages in the state of Tamil Nadu with a glimpse into the architecture, uniqueness, and history of Tamil Nadu. The story includes some beautiful traditions followed by certain Tamil communities.

Neelakantan says, 'I have written Navapashanam with the objective of bringing Tamil folklore and mythology to the forefront, through the eyes of my strong female protagonists. Add some magic, a treasure hunt, and loads of mysterious happening that will take readers into a world of fantasy that is rooted in reality.'
