Readomania is excited to announce the acquisition of the worldwide publishing rights to Shalini Mullick’s work of Romantic Fiction. The book is expected to hit the stores in the next few months.

In these times of Tinder, speed dating, hook-ups, and break-ups, Mullick's stories pose interesting and important questions. What is true love? Who are soulmates? Can love be defined by the constructs of society and convention? Is true love ever unrequited? Can an affair rescue a marriage? Can love grow in the spaces of routine life? Can true love ever tear people apart? Veering off the beaten track, these stories show that love is eternal, complete, and fulfilling. It doesn’t conform to societal rules, labels, or stereotypes.

A collection of three novella-length stories, this book is an unconventional, searingly honest, empathetic look at the most universal human emotion — love. Three stories. Three strong women. And love, as strong as they are. Through the life journeys of these women, the stories offer a fresh take on the manifestations of love, marriage, and the nuances of relationships.

Mullick says, 'Kindness and gratitude are the only real super powers-and we can all find them within ourselves. We are all our own superheroes.'

Shalini Mullick is a practicing doctor with two decades of experience in pathology.  She is also a writer.  With many prize-winning flash fiction and short stories to her credit, she has published five stories in three anthologies and was selected as a Juggernaut Selects author. Her articles on platforms like eShe Magazine, Women’s Web, Eyra magazine, and Incredible Women of India have been well received. She was awarded the Orange Flower Award for writing on LGBTQ+ issues in 2021 and was a finalist for the same award for writing on humor.  Keenly interested in medical humanities, she has contributed poems to international journals.  She is on the Review Board of the journal ‘Research and Humanities in Medical Education’. Shalini is happiest in the company of chocolate, old Hindi movie songs, and books. A late entrant to the world of writing, Shalini finds that it takes her away from the noise, towards silence. It also gives her an excuse to avoid hitting the gym, and from helicopter parenting her two teenage children.
