Back in the time, I used to spot blue,
Reflected through crystals of morning dew,
Hues of green sprouting from the ground,
An array of yellow danced around,
Vivid pink petals perfumed the air,
My eyes wandered to a red solitaire,
And I don't even know when,
Black covered the pattering rain,
My family disappeared, only presence to touch,
My eyes begged to see the colorful blush,
Food lost its color, my vision was blocked,
In a minute, my whole world stopped,
Soon the faces of my loved ones turned into dreams,
So did the blue, the red, and the green,
Now, I look back and wish,
To once again be among the colors each,
You never know how beautiful life is,
Until it loses its color and feels,
My once unique, joyous, and rainbow track,
Has now become colorless and black...
