Moments before dawn, dew appears on a leaf

Pure and sparkly, it dances like a thing;

Harsh wintry night, the creator of this wonder

Watches as it slides down under;

The clock freezes, with the dew in mid-swing

And night turns to day, bringing back promise and belief.

Birds sing to their heart's tune, partying in the wind

Butterflies are such a beauty; they need not do a thing

Bees buzz atop the flowers, working like it's the end

Cranes wait patiently, till they find fishes to befriend

The golden rays from the sky kiss each life form

All bathe in glory and riches, until there's a storm.

Dark clouds and chilly winds, the harbingers of night

Brings uncertainty and misery, to all creatures’ fright.

The lightning flashes up the eyes of its prey

All count silently, in hope for another day.

Some give up and leave before they get slain

But it's the brave who stayed, that enjoyed paradise once again.

The clock resumes, and the droplet falls to her feet

She watches her reflection, as a tear streams down her cheek;

The feeling was powerful, that got her overwhelmed with emotion

It drove her to disbelief, and to think it's only her own battle.

Sometimes it's good to cry, and let tears fall into motion

But remember it’s darkest before dawn, and the dawn is about to settle.
