There is so much left
between you and me...
Some broken promises,
Some unkept desires,
Some unsaid words,
The blazing fire.
It’s not over
How can it be!
For a world lived
between you and me...
We have yet to finish,
That started
Between you and me...
The silent promise
That hangs between,
The sensual tug
That runs beneath.
The limits that blurred
Between you and me,
Oh! A world lived
between you and me...
So much that sparkled
between you and me ...
So many moments
We forgot to live,
So many memories
We forgot to give.
The fire that
died somewhere between!
The regret that now lives
between you and me,
How the world turned
Between you and me...
Yet the embers linger
Waiting to alight,
Hope is wavering
But burning bright.
Something stays alive
Between you and me,
It’s not over!
How can it be?
For a world lived
between you and me....
