Walking amidst the corn fields
her eyes gazing at the sky
mind harbouring the same thoughts
like a cliche
her heart seemed like a frost
hard enough to breathe
collocation and callous
that surrendered like a shield
stifled for life
she had always dreamt off
now she sees gravity everywhere
things in her hand
but every thing falling down,
uncontrollably
vainly grappling over
everything toppled over
Eyes of she gandered on to the horizon
thoughts that weighed huge
those agonizing thoughts
Sullenly and suddenly
rationalized to her new life
those long distances that she walked all the while
aimlessly and tiredly
gave her a new way
a path of greenery emerged before her
that laid like a green carpet
with springs and blossoms
and with the colorful butterflies
a world full of hue and paint
looked like the world she imagined
it all looked so surreal
but it is real
like the words she remembered
of poetry when she was small
"when winter comes can spring be far behind"
completely beguiled she was
with the gift ahead she had
that no more she can shed those
tears of remorse
learnt to counterbalance
the moments of awkwardness
the moments of happiness
looked charming
and enticing
gracefully accepted the
life's greatest lessons
grew old and wise
to cherish the times best
and the time of tides
she shone eternal
like a sea of truth
like a blossom of love
like a patch of green
with a hope full of dreams
and there she knows
her life was to cherish
and not to crush.
