Everyday Seems The Same

I’m feeling it; it’s so cold and peaceful outside

But my mind is not calm inside

So many thoughts, so much worry and guilt drown me

Oh! Please let me out of this cage and set me free

Everyday I start with a smile and a new hope

But smile fades away and my hope elopes

So many feeling to go through everyday

So many situations from which I cannot run away

I am learning, growing, healing slowly

Give me some time to understand myself, fully

Everyone commits mistakes, So did I

But when I did good nobody gave an eye

Every time I am done with the day

At night, comes all the thoughts to worry me more, everyday

Responsibilities to take, duties to complete

This is a fight with myself & no one else to compete

As the dawn breaks I start another day with a new hope boldly.
