When coins are scattered on the ground,

They create a definite rumbling sound;

But when true friends dive into the distance

There is no noise, only silence!

For higher studies or for livelihood...

One overcomes the obsessions of childhood;

A message or a rare phone call

Sustain the memories- that's all!

I miss those days when we were one

Life was only joy & fun;

But Time like a river flew so fast;

And moments of joy became our past!

A minute or two in social sites....

Can hardly replace those naughty nights;

Those insulting words and the ignominy

Will outweigh the worth of compliments many!

I frankly say from the core of my heart,

Time may take us friends apart;

But nothing can change the sweet memories,

Those scintillating moments, the lovely stories...

Let us reminisce those days....commemorate each other

And discover the joys that we had together...

Friendship-for-life is not confined to a place...
