Driven by hope
& the key in hand,
I pushed through
the keyhole
of the lock
that bound me
all this while...
Doors flung open.
The new world beckoned.
As I stepped out to progress
& my lungs filled
the fresh breath of freedom,
Somewhere inside me
Another set of
doors closed shut ...
