Ofoo! Akshit, when will you grow up?" said Anannya, hitting Akshit playfully. Akshit pulled the rubber band off her hair again, as he loved the smell of it after she takes a bath. "I won't grow up till you marry me dumbo," said Akshit meaning every word he said. Ana took his flirting lightly, hitting him again, "Duffer". Ana was getting married in a week's time, but still she managed to sneak out to spend some time with her best-friend. Akshit and Ana have known each other for as long as they could remember. They do not know when it started, but do know that now it's impossible to separate them. Akshit knows everything Ana's heart holds as a secret from the world and Ana also thinks the same, but that isn’t true after all. The biggest secret that Akshit's heart holds is going to be a secret from Ana forever. "Ok, Akshit. I won't be able to sneak out anymore as a lot of shopping is still to be done. I will see you at my place next, when you come down for the wedding," said Ana letting go of Akshit's tight embrace, but didn't she know that this was the last time she was seeing him.

Ana was getting married to Sugam, her crush and now her fiancé. Yes Akshit and Ana have been the one for each other but Akshit hasn’t been THE ONE for her. They have been besties and will remain besties forever, but they won't be in each other's life anymore. Akshit unknowingly fell in love with how Ana tied her hair in a bun, with her playful jabs, with her endless late-night talks, with her irritating him with Justin Bieber's songs, with her trying to convince him to have a girlfriend, with those endless hugs and endless fights, with those pajama parties and late night maggie dates, and finally with her. But he knew that though she was his', she wasn’t his after all. He tried many a times telling her about his feelings and she always replied with a sweet, “I love you too”, but only as a friend. Akshit himself didn’t know when this whole mockery had turned into real love. Well one thing was sure, that his love wasn't going to have a happy ending so Akshit had decided to go away as he knew that it was about time. Akshit without telling Ana had taken an overseas assignment and was leaving that night itself. He wanted to distance himself from her, as far as possible. The week went away in a jiffy and Ana didn't even notice that her best friend was missing.

Akshit never came back to India but became real rich which made him possible to hire someone to keep him posted about her wellbeing. In the meanwhile he adopted a kid. Saksham was a real sweetheart in every sense. He shared all his secrets and was his only motive to go on with a rather gloomy life. 'Maza bara ek tarafoin ashki kite da' was such a hoax and a myth. Nothing is more devastating than a one-sided love. Many years passed by and one day when Saksham woke up for his morning jog, he found his dad wasn't there. When he went to wake him up he found that his dad's favorite quote, “I sleep every night to never wake up again,” had finally come true. Whoever says that blood runs thicker than water, is not always right. “Dad I'll keep up the promise. I'll deliver that letter, dad.” Saksham knows about his dad's past and had promised to deliver it if he passes away before Ana does. So Saksham was all set on this mission to keep the promise made by him.

He knew that Ana had lost her husband couple of years ago. So without wasting any more time, he hauled a taxi and shot towards Ana's apartment. He knocked the door and a beautiful girl, about his age, opened the door. "Hello. How can I help you?" said a beautiful voice. "May I meet Miss Ana?" "Sure." She led him to a room where a lady, as old as his dad, was lying on a bed. He was a bit hesitant but mustered enough courage and went to the lady. "Ma'am, I'm Saksham, son of Mr. Akshit Singla. If you remember your best friend. I am here to deliver a letter from him. I hope you'll forgive him for vanishing like that." He placed the letter by her side and with a tear in his eyes left.

As that young lad left, that girl sat beside her mother and started reading the letter to her, as Ana had lost her eyesight in an accident few months ago.

"Dear Ana

It's been so long. I'm sorry that I vanished like this but I had no choice. I have a lot to say, but have very few words in which to compile all of my feelings. Let me start like this...

When an idiot of a guy sat on your seat and you lost your temper and started fighting with him, this was the first time when we met in 3rd grade. We were destined to be seatmates and hence friends for life. All those little things you said and all those little things you did made me go head over heels for you. We were friends, perhaps best friends, but that wasn’t all I wanted us to be. In 6th standard, when I had that accident and you fought with your parents because you wanted to stay at the hospital by my side instead of going home, was the time that I realized how much I loved you. My eyes were closed but I was listening all that you were saying.

I never mustered enough courage to tell you this and then out of nowhere you announced that you liked Sugam. Well never mind. I don't want to keep this one long as I know you hate listening to too much but by the time you will be reading this I will be long gone. I know you liked my little jingles so here is this last for you...

We fought, We Sort,

We had feelings,

Those were true...

I ruined your hair,

I ruined your selfies,

You wanted to hit me,

So you ran with a shoe...

You liked Pink,

And hated Blue...

But trust me,

I loved you...

Don't want to say much,

You'll start calling me an idiot...

But My Happy Ending,

Will End At You!

Good Bye Angel.
