नफरत मिटा कर मोहब्बत का पैगाम लाये
काश हमारे वतन में भी वो शाम आये,
झूलते रहें वादियों में बेख़ौफ खुशी से
ऐ खुदा अब और ना कोई कोहराम आये,
बहुत हो चुकी मन्दिर मस्जिद की ज़िद
हो दोस्ती बगैर ज़ात-ए-र्फक का ख्याल आये,
जब भी अमन व दोस्ती का पैग़ाम बयाँ हो
र्वक पे क़िताबों के हिन्दुस्तान का नाम आये !
