REMNANTS
It is floating in the air
features of a fevered feather,
remnants of a fleeting bird...
Speedily vanished a van
blowing sheaths of smoke in the air,
remnants of a motor sojourn...
A peacock feather inside a
romantic love book,
remnants of unrequited Love...
Scattered words of a thoughtless act,
remnants of a sweet relationship gone sore...
Flickers of a dazzling dying flame,
remnants of a kindled melting candle gone...
Convulsive gasps of a desperate painful breath,
remnants of a life lived in vain...
