Closing the door behind me, I looked at her.

She was extremely pretty and didn’t look like she was into this.

“I need a drink first” She ordered.

I poured her a drink and watched her drink it.

“What’s your name?” I asked.

“Wouldn’t you fuck me, if I tell you my name?”

I looked away.

“You don’t look like you’re those kinda girls” I said being friendly enough.

“ Don’t try acting like a good guy.” Was her retreat.

I got up and went up to the balcony.

She sensed it and came after me

“I too had a happy family,“ she said.

“They died? “

“They killed me”  was her reply.

I became silent and dumb struck to ask anything more.

“A few years back, I was madly in love with a guy. I was ready to give

him everything he wanted . Within a few months of relationship, we had sex and I got pregnant.”

“He asked me to keep it a secret and get away with it. I didn't tell anyone about it.

Eventually my parents came to know about it. They turned my life into living hell.

They would beat me up, lock me in a room for days and did everything a parent would'nt do."

She was teary eyed and so was I.

“What Happened next? They helped you out?“

“They threw me out of the house. Left me on the streets. I kept knocking at the door for days.”

“And the guy who brought you to this predicament? “ I asked.

She wiped her tears and looked up.

“My parents didn't accept me and my mistakes. How would he?

“He slapped me in front of everyone when I went to him“ She replied.

“I ended up on streets. Used and thrashed by men for money. I didn't have an option.

I needed food, they needed sex. I can’t ever be happy. I can’t be loved” She said and looked at me.

“I am sorry. Even I was going to do the same."  I replied.

“Its okay. Used to it.“ She smiled.

“Whats your name?” I asked.

“ Dikshya” she replied.

“You'll be loved and be happy soon. I promise.” I replied.

She gave a cheerful smile.

It was already morning.

“Few years later.

'Dikshya Orphanage Homes'

Being a proud owner of an orphanage was the best thing for her.

She wanted to make sure that no one goes through the stuff, she faced.

Yes, she was happy and I kept my promise.

She's my wife and I love her regardless of her past.
