It wasn't the first meeting
A rendezvous in a grove
With a prince charming
And such casual cliché
Eyes meeting with a sudden spark
And love striking both hearts
It was just a meeting
With a childhood affiliation
After old, silly mockeries
Funny present attraction
An old voice unheard, forgotten
And new one a soothing melody
Dashing simplicity with an ocean of goodness
Stole a heart surprisingly
Thoughts followed line by line
Inseparable from that kind soul
Few moments strengthened that love
Painting a color forever in heart
Our eyes met like magnet and iron
Making that moment rest forever fresh
Words travelled like an arrow
Piercing another’s heart
Words got stuck
In delicate threads of thoughtfulness
And dream visions shadowed the reality
Departure moment then flashed
And one went away with sweetest memories
Oft comforted, oft troubled with the pang of love
Even the pain subsided to be later awakened
When providence allowed our ways to intersect
Eyes met again, new dreams awakened
In one heart, thoughts drizzled
With snowflakes of love
Words dared not erupt
Fire burnt silently
The castle of dreams
And fear of unrequited love
Chased away the sleep chariot
Heavy heart blooms like roses
Uncertain of the day of heartbreak
None warned it or said beware
Thy chosen path will seize all air
Thy dreams may choke
At the suffocating reality
Forget the world, there’s just duality
None deserve your love
Except your Creator
Among all loves, His love is the greatest!
