I guess I'll wait for you,

Maybe, that's what you want me to do.

 

I'll give you space to breathe,

Maybe, my distance I'll have to keep.

 

You say there is a part,

Maybe, of you, that matches my heart.

 

Existing I might cease,

Maybe, till you find that missing piece.

 

Shall take decades it may,

Maybe, it'll be late to face that day.

 

But you'll know, I did wait,

Maybe, to make you regret my gait.
