When Britishers were overtaking our land
And the Indians could see no hope of victory
She rose up against all odds
And got her name embedded in the history
Alone she fought with swords in her hand
Breaking all those patriarchal norms
Yet she stood up till her last breath,
After all its not every day the Rani of Jhansi is born.
Another one was from across the world
Travelled around to finally reach the God's land
She made her entire life a pilgrimage
No needs of her own, forget those materialistic demands
Alone she spent her entire life
Helping as many as were possible
Even that Peace Prize was too inferior to her
For she was Mother Teresa, with the spirit so noble.
Like them there were so many more
All those who travelled their journey solo
Or maybe they were not that alone
That's why it is their path that now hundreds of people follow
But what about that little girl
Who cries all day in the corner
She couldn't understand a single word
When the world was breaking upon her
Probably even she doesn't know
She isn't the only one with such a disease
God is never unfair to anyone
Yet Thousands of lives He has seized.
Maybe it is the fact true for this world
No one ever is left alone
Even that dying soldier isn't lonely
He has his lover's heart attached to his soul.
Alone isn't even that watch guard
Living in the light house, they say
He has that vast ocean, an open sky
And the nature's embrace to make his day
Then who in this crowded world is alone?
I doubt that such a thing can even occur
Maybe loneliness is just an excuse
Given by those who don't like the company of others.
