Once upon a time, in a world where fossil fuels had been depleting and climate change had ravaged the planet, a group of activists and innovators came together to create a new way of living. Many names knew them but famously known as the Solarpunks, and their vision was to build a sustainable, eco-friendly society powered by renewable energy.
At first, the Solarpunks were met with skepticism and resistance. But as the effects of climate change worsened and the costs of fossil fuels continued to rise, more and more people began to see the value of their ideas. The Solarpunks became a movement, and their vision began to take shape.
They built solar panels and wind turbines, harvesting energy from the sun and wind to power their homes and communities. They created gardens and farms, using sustainable agricultural practices to grow healthy, organic food. They built eco-friendly transportation systems, including bicycles, electric cars, and public transit.
As the Solarpunks worked to create a more sustainable world, they fought for social justice and equality. They worked to dismantle systems of oppression and inequality and to create a society where all people could thrive. They built community centers and education programs, empowering people with the knowledge and skills to live sustainably and build a better world.
Over time, the Solarpunks' vision spread, and their movement grew. More and more people joined their cause, and their sustainable, eco-friendly way of life became the new norm. The world they had dreamed of was now a reality, a beautiful, sustainable, and just society powered by renewable energy and guided by the principles of the Solarpunks.
All of this led to new age.
This all paved the way for a new age.
The present condition of this World:
Sustainable Energy: The society runs on clean and renewable energy, mainly solar power. This has led to a harmonious relationship between technology and the environment, where human activities do not harm the planet but instead nurture it.
Decentralized Governance: The system is likely governed through councils or a form of direct democracy where community members have an equal say in decisions. Instead of a top-down government structure, decision-making is localized, with each community managing its affairs while collaborating with others.
Specialized Leaders: Certain roles like Security Personnel, Doctors, Engineers, etc. hold more responsibility because of the specialized skills needed to maintain society’s well-being, but they don’t have political power in a traditional sense. Their respect is based on merit and contribution.
Technology and Automation: Machines perform the majority of labor-intensive tasks. From agriculture to transportation, everything is highly automated. However, people maintain skills such as hunting, farming, and repairing through their education to stay connected to nature and survival.
Basic Needs Met: The society functions as a post-scarcity civilization where everyone's basic needs—food, shelter, healthcare, and education—are universally met. This has eliminated many traditional economic and social disparities that previously led to poverty, crime, and inequality.
Medical Field: There is a near-perfect medical system with a focus on preventive care, mental health, and long-term wellness. With almost no diseases and advanced healthcare technology, the citizens live long, healthy, and fulfilling lives, rarely having to worry about their health or well-being.
No Traditional Jobs: There is no concept of formal employment in the capitalist sense. People work not for wages but out of passion, for the betterment of their community, or personal fulfillment. Technology, particularly automation, has taken over many mundane tasks, allowing people to focus on intellectual, creative, and specialized pursuits.
Mandatory Education: Basic education includes practical skills like survival, self-defense, and repair. After this basic education, people choose a specialization in their late teens: Medical, Engineering, Security, or Instruction (teachers, researchers, etc.).
Lifelong Learning: The society encourages continuous education, research, and development. It values wisdom and knowledge, and people are constantly evolving their skills and contributing to the collective knowledge pool.
Crime as a Rare Phenomenon: With the abundance of resources in this post-scarcity society, traditional crimes driven by material needs, such as theft or robbery, are virtually nonexistent. The few crimes that do occur are primarily rooted in personal conflicts or emotional impulses, as the underlying motivations for crime, like poverty, inequality, and hunger, have been eradicated.
Security Specialists: Despite the minimal crime, the Security Specialists are highly trained and are responsible for dealing with any rare security threats, including external threats from rogue groups, like the bandits mentioned in the story.
Decentralized and Non-Commercial Arts: Arts in this society are not commodified or used for profit. People engage in writing, music, painting, and other creative outlets as a form of expression and personal fulfillment.
Cultural Competitions: These are meant to inspire intellectual and creative expression. However, they are meant to foster community spirit and growth rather than competition for material gain.
Environmental Protection: There is a strong emphasis on living in harmony with the environment. Forests and wilderness areas are protected, and people understand the need for sustainability, preserving nature while advancing their technology.
Humanitarian Values: The society operates on mutual respect, empathy, and collaboration. People are encouraged to engage with each other positively, and individualism is balanced with a strong sense of community.

Thomas: (Sighs) Phew, finally finished the report! It covers both our world's history and the present state. Hope the examiners like it, brother.
Jack: (Takes the report and skims it) Let's see what you've got here. (Reads for a moment, then smiles) Hmm, informative, brief, and straight to the point. Looks good, Tom!
