I am social activist managing Our world our Initiative, a philanthropic initiative which is focused on helping elderly and children by connecting people from all over the world to them through social networking. I have been featured in India Positive, CNN IBN, Femina Magazine, Telegraph, Times of India, Taaza TV, and various online portals, magazines and websites for my social efforts in the past three years.
I am a artists and curator of Art and life style exhibitions like Art Fair, currently in its fourth season. I love quilling and typography's forms and experiment with it often. I am an illustrator and calligraphy artist as well.My works have been exhibited in group shows in various renowned galleries in Kolkata namely, Birla Art Gallery, Academy Of Fine Arts, Chemould Art Gallery, Mirage Art Gallery, ICCR and so on.
I have been writing from an early age and worked as a student journalist in The Telegraph in School for more than 10 years. I am an avid reader and blogger. I manage Being Bookworms which focuses on covering books related events, news and interviews of authors and poets in Kolkata.
I am the co-founder and joint coordinator of Rhythm Divine, a poets' group which focuses on promoting poetry, organizing creative writing workshops and featuring poets live on radio. It's about poetry reaching out to people and poets evolving. I am a poet and an author, my poems and short stories been published in various national and international anthologies like Seasons of love, Myraid Tales and Life sundae, her story was appreciated by Fusion team clearing first and second round and she had won fablery sci fi first round for novella writing..her poem appeared in Heart only whispers an anthology of poems presently working on different projects. Grapevine anthology contest of 25 strokes of Teen life, poetry namely Magnitude by IIA, Umbilical Cord by Rejected stuff,Milange by Poets corner, Fascism by Whatabooks and many more and she is currently working on her book.
