Journey of a Teardrop

The warmth of love it still retains

with the exulting emotions of the past

while at the same time

waves of sadness from the sea of sorrows

hidden under its shiny layers peep

reflecting the pathos of parting.

A bit of salt from the sandy coast

also finds its way to the stream-like path

evoking bitter memories surge to the top.

Sighs of the wind that saunters

soaks  a slice of gloom in its translucent pleats

makes it eloquent and articulate.

It passes through the abyss of fear

add a pinch of red to the black and white pools

and keeps treading through the valley of anxiety

reflecting agony of the aching heart behind

in search of a serene shore to settle down

and summon the lost  joy just for once.
