A Father, a Son, and a Life Changing Road Trip
Announcing Where the Highway Ends by Neil Kansal and Ruchin Kansal
What begins as a simple driving lesson becomes a life-altering journey in Where the Highway Ends, a deeply moving new book that celebrates family, resilience, and the quiet moments that shape who we become.

At sixteen, Neil only wanted to learn how to drive a manual car. His father, Ruchin, thought he was passing on a basic life skill. Neither could have imagined that repairing a rusted Acura Integra on a tight budget would spark a 5,000-mile road trip across America—one that would lead them not just to the highest paved road in the country, but into the unspoken spaces of their own hearts.
Their refurbished Integra—affectionately named Teggy—soon becomes more than just a car. Stubborn yet sturdy, it turns into a trusted partner in this once-in-a-lifetime journey.
With no mechanical experience and countless challenges along the way, father and son face breakdowns, detours, and moments of doubt. But with every mile, they also discover breathtaking landscapes, shared laughter, and the strength that comes from showing up for one another.
Where the Highway Ends is an intimate yet universal story for anyone who has ever searched for connection, crossed emotional distances, or learned that sometimes the most meaningful journeys begin when the road seems to end.
So buckle up—this unforgettable ride is just getting started.
